Our download isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen doesn't recognise it. If the file came from the team, click More info, then Run anyway. We're working on signing the launcher so this goes away.
The Mac app isn't notarized by Apple yet. Try to open it once, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway and confirm. You only need to do this the first time.
Please don't turn your antivirus off. Instead:
Use Repair game files in the launcher's Settings > Game. It's the fix for most "it worked yesterday" problems.
About 4 GB for the game. Keep 8 GB free so updates have room.

My account won't connect but another one does. Sign in again: the newest sign-in takes over a session left behind by a dropped connection.
I forgot my password. There's no self-service reset yet. Ask the team on the feedback site and we'll help you get back in. The team will never ask you to post your password.

Characters and items may be wiped between alpha phases. We always announce a wipe in advance.

The report records game events and your inputs. Passwords and chat text are left out. If it couldn't be sent and we ask for the file, you'll find it at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\DefaultCompany\XiahReborn\Diagnostics\last-report.jsonl on Windows.
