The level cap is 200. Here's where to hunt on the way up. Monster levels are fixed, so a good rule of thumb is: hunt things around your own level, and step up to the next map when kills start feeling slow.
| Your level | Where to go | Getting there |
|---|---|---|
| 1 - 8 | Prairie, then Bizarre Rock | Walk out of the Prairie village |
| 8 - 12 | Volcano | Bizarre Rock's far exit, or a Bead |
| 12 - 28 | Desert | From the Volcano, or a Bead |
| 28 - 34 | Back to the Volcano, deeper in | |
| 33 - 46 | Glacier or Poison Magic Cave | Glacier from the Volcano; the Cave has its own portal in the Prairie |
| 44 - 50 | Swamp | From the Glacier or the Alpine |
| 53 - 70 | Alpine or the dangerous edges of Bizarre Rock | Alpine from the Volcano or the Swamp |
| 72 - 84 | Blood Devil Castle | Bead of Blood Castle (75,000 Jeon) |
| 111 - 165 | Accursed Ruins | Bead of Accursed Ruins (150,000 Jeon) |
| 151 - 170 | Fiend Basin | The Fiend Basin Manager in the Prairie (300,000 Jeon) |
Heads up: the current world has no hunting ground between level 85 and 110. Blood Devil Castle stays your best spot until you're ready for the Accursed Ruins. We know, and new content for that range is on our list.
Start with the Mad Dogs near the Prairie's exit to Bizarre Rock, then cross over. Bizarre Rock is packed with starter monsters:
| Level | Monster |
|---|---|
| 1 | Mad Dog |
| 2 | Wild Boar |
| 3 | Fighting Bull |
| 4 | Bone Archer |
| 5 | Monster Man |
| 6 | Soul Blade Boss |
| 7 | Gorilla (the Gorilla Emperor from your quest lives among them) |
| 8 | Tiger |
Bizarre Rock has a dangerous side. Its outer edges are home to level 56 to 68 monsters (Snakon, Wood Demon, Fire Lady, Insect Man, Corpse Man) and SaDo, a level 100 boss. Check the level on a monster's name tag before you pick a fight!
Near the entrance from Bizarre Rock: Tiger (8), Undead Man (9), Gorilla Soldier (10), Centipede (11) and Fire Demon (12).
The Desert covers a big level range, so you can stay a while.
| Level | Monster |
|---|---|
| 12 - 14 | Fire Demon, Horn Dog, Scorpion |
| 16 - 19 | Skeleton Soldier, Evilla, Fire Woman, Skeleton Archer |
| 20 - 25 | Strong Dog, Wild Dog, Skeleton Spear Man, Corpse Digger, Skeleton Mage |
| 27 - 28 | Super Dog, Blue Werewolf |
The Skeleton Archers are everywhere here (there are over a hundred of them), which makes the high teens a great time to grind.
The Volcano's far side has a second, tougher crowd: Blue Werewolf (28), Fire Dragon (29), Wawa (30), Undead Digger (31), Mammoth (33) and Red Werewolf (34).
Two choices for the thirties and forties.
Glacier (33 - 46): Mammoth, Red Werewolf, Undead Woman (35), Ice Wawa (36), Ice Dragon (37), Big Mammoth (38), White Tiger (39), Ice Bird (40), Gold Wawa (42), Black Bee (44), Ice Demon (45) and Gigantic Mammoth (46).
Poison Magic Cave (35 - 54): Ice Woman (35), Bush Dragon (37), Red Tiger (39), Gold Human (41), Mole (43), Water Demon (45), Thorny (48), Fire Monster (49), Steel Giant (51) and Stone Devil (54). Its entrance is a portal in the Prairie, so it's close to town.
Black Bee (44), Gigantic Mammoth (46), Fusion Dragon (47) and Minotaur (50). The Swamp is also home to two world bosses, the Minotaur King and the Minotaur Emperor (both level 100). Bring friends.
God Bird (53), Field Digger (55), Horned Ape (58), God Mage (60), Panther Man (62), Dragonian (65) and Mad Monkey (70). Watch out for the Phoenix and the Gold Bird, both level 100.
From level 60, monsters can start dropping rebirth pills. See Rebirth.
A castle full of evil versions of monsters you already know: Evil Black Bee (72), Evil Bird (75), Evil Dragonian (78), Evil Fire Monster (81), Evil Archer (82), Corpse Ghost (83) and Super Evil Mage (84). Get there with a Bead of Blood Castle from the General Shop.
The endgame. Waves of Murderesses, Stallions, Goliaths and Bandits:
| Level | Monster |
|---|---|
| 111 - 123 | Steadfast Murderess, Torrential Murderess, Blazing Murderess, Splintering Murderess, Gleaming Murderess |
| 127 - 135 | Avalanche Stallion, Inferno Stallion, Hurricane Stallion, Splintering Stallion, Razor Stallion |
| 138 - 146 | Scythe Goliath, Stave Goliath, Cleaving Goliath, Crushing Goliath, Blade Goliath |
| 150 - 165 | Soil Bandit, Red Fire Bandit, Ice Bandit, Green Bandit, Steel Bandit |
Keep an eye out for the Inferno Empress (150) and the Bright Envoy (165), a world boss with ten million life.
Talk to the Fiend Basin Manager in the Prairie (300,000 Jeon) to reach the Basin: the Evil Seals (Evil Soil Seals 151 to Evil Fire Seals 159) and the Phantoms (Soil Phantom 162 to Fire Phantom 170).
Look it up in the database: browse monsters to find their levels, drops and hunting grounds.
